Field stripped when I first got it home everything seemed tight and didn't make any noise. Stripped factory grease from it and now there is a small rattle from the FCU/ right hand side of FCU when looking down the frame.That includes boutique manufacturers with prices north of $3k. Then there is the actual percentage of units with “issues” to total units sold. Sig does a great job correcting those .005% units that slip through, as do most other manufacturers. Upon cleaning and inspection I noticed my recoil spring had popped out of place. I tried the same experiment with the 9mm P365 XL (that’s the long slide version). It cycled just fine, using everyday 147-grain range ammo. I have also tried it with the Beretta 80X Cheetah using the same PMC ammo I had in the .380 Sig. Again, no problems.
